Calvin

“What we appreciate the most is how flexible Basikon is. With the blink of an eye, we can set up a partner page in white labelling. Simulations, transfer of contracts, signatures... everything is paperless. This way, the onboarding process, the creation and management of contracts, as well as partner relationships are simple and differentiated.“

Thomas Le Forestier, COO of Calvin

Calvin obtained its license in April 2020. This leasing broker finances any kind of equipment for SMEs and mid-size companies.

Head Office: Geneva, Switzerland

The background

Leasing of Air Conditioners, neon signs, tanks for brewers…. Calvin, a young Financing company has quickly become a significant player on the Swiss market. During the selection of a Financing Software, Basikon was quickly seen as the obvious winner, thanks to its unique flexibility. Because the platform is created by, and for, entrepreneurs, it allows extremely fast growth of the business, at a startup’s pace.

The challenge

Calvin obtained its license in 2020. The company’s ambition is to develop very quickly in Switzerland, where very few companies offer leasing brokerage. Because of this, M3’s requirement to connect its financing software to the information systems of two large Swiss Banks was rarely seen before and seemed very challenging. In order to attract the vendor leasers who would distribute its products, M3 also had to and provide seamless and tailored services.

The solution

With Basikon, Calvin benefits from an omniscient SaaS platform. Choice and acquisition of the solution, settings, integration with partnering banks, onboarding, relationship with partners… Everything is fluid and fast. Thanks to Basikon’s technological superiority and the team’s professionalism, the project was finished within 4 months. Calvin could then start and develop its activities rapidly.

With Basikon, everything is dematerialized, and each process is optimized. The company had planned to hire a sales administrator and it no longer appears to be necessary. Calvin can then invest more on high value-added tasks, such as partner relationships.

The result

Thanks to the possibilities offered by the platform and the quality of the project team, the implementation project was a real accelerator for Calvin.

With zero paper and zero double-data entry, the relationship with partners is extremely fluid, qualitative and personalized. In parallel, the risk of errors is significantly lowered and the productivity is increased.

Having a single point of contact is great, especially when he is also a real swiss army knife. Not only did he drive the project forward, but he is also a coach who has helped us improve the way we do business.
