Specialized in financial leases, Leascorp finances all types of assets, including software. It heavily relies on a network of partners to sell their solutions.

The background

Leascorp’s growth was accelerating – the company almost doubled in size in 2022 and 2023 – when they realized that their processes required a new system, at the same time more agile and more robust, to properly scale. They were looking for the perfect mix of technical and business expertise, knowing that their operations would only continue to grow if they managed to significantly develop their network of vendor partners. This required the ability to deliver new innovative products consistently and reliably to them, and to enable said partners to easily feed new business requests, without specific training. But how to design a tool that could provide such product flexibility without being over-complicated and confusing for its users?

The challenge

Leascorp had been successful with their home-made tools, but they knew that they could not accelerate the development of their business with them. Larger data volume (+150% contracts for 2 years in a row), many data entries per client profile (100+ datapoints, 15+ documents, and all types of heterogenous assets to finance), numerous low value-added tasks due to non-integrated systems, and overall, an ever-growing operational risk... they needed to change their legacy organization and processes. However, their biggest fear was to lose the agility which had garnered them so much success. But after reaching their 8000th client and with over 300 partners to handle regularly, it was time to find a more future-proof financing platform.

The solution

With Basikon, Leascorp took advantage of a solution that does not require integration work thanks to its smart extensions, which enable any third-party system to be connected in a matter of days. Basikon’s almost-endless configuration capabilities also enable it to adapt to each individual partner’s requirements very precisely: new workflows and custom fields can be created by configuration and accurately match any set of business rules. All this while still being maintained and regularly updated by Basikon, thus ensuring future compliance with any new technology.

Thanks to this perfect blend of flexibility and robustness, depending on a partner’s pre-existing information system, Leascorp can now easily provide either a portal to seamlessly generate simulations and contracts (embedded finance), or a direct API connection with the partner’s CRM. Since Leascorp employees do not have to deal with low-added value tasks anymore, they can be more productive and spend more time proactively serving their partners.

The result

Leascorp has been able to increase the loyalty of their partners and to start new partnerships on a larger scale, growing their network by 300% and their overall client count to 32000 by the end of 2023.

Leascorp leadership team is now free to aim for even more ambitious goals with their partners, be it a new product segment or an additional territory. Indeed, thanks to Basikon they can now design and deploy any new business channel with ease in less than a week.
