Glinche Automobiles, founded in 1966 and currently experiencing significant growth, specializes in the purchase and sale of new and nearly new vehicles. Based near Le Mans, the Glinche Group offers a wide range of French and foreign vehicles, from city cars to premium models, including utility and recreational vehicles. In recent years, the group has expanded by establishing two new entities: En Route Michel, specializing in long-term leasing for professionals, and Glinche Sport & Classic, focused on the sale of high-end vehicles.
With over 50,000 customers and more than 60 employees, the company operates multiple sales channels: through its physical location and online sales, via partnerships with automotive professionals, and through collaborations with banks, insurance companies, and local authorities.
The Glinche Group's business model relies heavily on direct sales in its dealership and online via its various websites and dedicated platforms, enabling it to grow without increasing its headcount. The launch of their brand: En route Michel and Glinche Sport & Classic, once again demonstrated their market reach. However, as they aimed to scale up, they faced challenges related to manual workflows and disconnected processes, particularly when managing financing and procurement.
Before joining forces with Basikon, Glinche's sales team relied on time-consuming manual processes. Not all processes were digitized, and some tools hampered sales development. This inefficiency hampered productivity and was a recurring source of errors, limiting the company's ability to manage growing demand. In addition, the sales team lacked a unified platform to manage customer queries, vehicle lists and financial services, making it even more difficult to expand their operations across multiple sites.
In addition, the Glinche Group needed a system capable of managing all its entities and integrating with external services and various banks.
The Basikon platform provided Glinche with a fully integrated solution that connects all facets of its business. Initially focused on streamlining the financing process, Basikon established an API integration with Crédit Agricole to automate vehicle financing. This allowed Glinche's sales teams to process financing requests from a single data entry point, significantly reducing manual tasks and increasing productivity.
Recognizing the success of this integration, Glinche expanded Basikon's scope to manage its entire operations, from procurement to inventory management and an end-to-end delivery system. Basikon now supports Glinche in automating vehicle listings, dynamically managing prices based on distribution channels, and centralizing customer and sales data within a unified CRM.
